“Very green aren’t you darling”
hat was the comment from my darling boyfriend when I arrived home this afternoon. Perhaps just a little, but I didn’t think too much, and just when greens and blues are going out for the spring, but I never was one to catch on to the latest trends straight away. Just as women all over the country are waiting for those nude tights days (bare legs is wishful thinking) I’m cracking open the 70den coloured tights, and actually quite staring to like then, rather a lot.
Apologies for the lack of posts this week, I’ve been living out of a bag for days and didn’t feel any of my outfits were particularly blog worthy, add limited access to the internet and we begin to have a problem. But I’m home now, so normal service is resumed, well at least until the “big move” at the beginning of April.
So here is my outfit for today:
I adore these boots which I found in Camden last Friday, I bartered and got them for £5 – they wanted £6.99 but they are slightly scuffed and the lovely women said yes when I asked her if she’d take a fiver. We don’t often get a chance to barter living in the UK, but I’ll take a chance when I see one.
The £25 budget for march is going well…I spent £1 of it so far buying a pink flower for my hair in Primark today…and bought nothing while I was in Liverpool, not a thing. I didn’t even venture into Primark which was a first. If you’ve never been it is HUGE, I think it’s on par with Oxford Street. So I’ve still got £24 to spend Hurrah!
Just a couple of other things, as soon as I reach 25 followers I’ll be posting a giveaway so keep your eyes peeled for that, not sure what it’ll be yet…and I might be sorting out some costume jewellery to put up for sale on the blog but will keep you updated, there is going to be a lot of sorting going on in the next few weeks round these parts.
Love to you all
Queenie xx
I *love* those teal tights and the feather in your hair. And that is a gorgeous skirt on you! Nothing wrong with a bit of colour co-ordination. ;-)
